Why install BumbleBox as an app?
The installed app opens in its own window, without browser tabs or address bar — your inbox feels like a native mail client. Launch it from your dock, taskbar or home screen, receive push notifications for the emails that genuinely need you, and let BumbleBox keep triaging in the background while you work elsewhere.
Installation takes a few seconds, uses the browser you already trust, and never requires an app store or an update: you always run the latest version, the moment we ship it. It works on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, and uninstalling is one click if you change your mind — your account and data stay untouched either way.
If the browser offers no install option
On iPhone and iPad, it has to be Safari
Chrome and Firefox on iOS cannot add a site to the home screen — only Safari can. Open bumblebox.ai in Safari and the "Add to Home Screen" entry appears in the Share menu.
On desktop, check the address bar, then the menu
Chrome and Edge put the install icon at the right of the address bar; when it is hidden, the same command sits in the browser menu. Firefox on desktop does not install web apps at all — the site still works normally in a tab.
A private window never offers it
Installation is disabled in private and incognito windows. Open bumblebox.ai in an ordinary window first, then install from there.
A work device may block it by policy
Company-managed browsers can disable web app installation entirely. Your IT administrator can allow it; until then, BumbleBox runs in a normal tab with every feature intact.
Installing changes nothing about your account or your data: it is the same BumbleBox, the same sign-in and the same connected mailboxes. Notifications stay off until you allow them, and removing the app — right-click its icon on desktop, press and hold on a phone — leaves your account and your mailboxes untouched.
